Born in Beaumont, TX. Raised by a very Texan family, mostly in Texas (but lived in a few different states). Spent all of Junior High and High School in Lynnwood, WA. Undergrad at SMU in Dallas, then Vet School at Texas A&M. Did a 1 year Internship in Los Angeles. Have lived in the Seattle area since 2006. Spent the vast majority of my career (32 years of it) exclusively in emergency and critical care. The last couple of years, shifted back into general practice. I very much enjoy surgery, ultrasound, and challenging medical cases. Always learning new things, and there is always WAY more to learn. I have no pets at the moment but am a very big fan of larger dogs, especially Dobermans (I’ve had 2 in the past). I enjoy computer programming and all things computer, games, skiing and occasional kayaking (but I do not have a kayak right now).
